Another prominent landmark overlooking the harbour is the elaborately carved church dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes, a neo-gothic monument built in 1888. Other attractions include Mgarr Parish Church, the Gozo boat monument and Gnejna Bay, offering clean waters, golden sand and plenty of watersports.
