As is common on Greek Islands, the village itself is set back in the hills, and features narrow streets and traditional houses around the local “kafeneion”. A selection of restaurants and small shops run along the waterfront, and a stretch of pebble beach, backed by trees with pristine sea and sand underfoot, awaits. From here you can visit the island of Marathonisi (a tiny rocky outcrop), take a boat to Turtle beach, visit the caves or enjoy one of the most spectacular sunsets from the site of the Lighthouse. The front door has a width of 80cm, whilst the door to the terrace is 82cm wide. The terrace is open-plan however uneven due to the crazy paving. The pool itself has ladder access. Inside, the ground floor bedroom door is 74cm wide whilst the ensuite door is 73cm wide. There are 14 steps to the first floor.
