A scenic fifteen minute stroll downhill will take you to the beginning of Vasiliki’s long sand and shingle beach with a few amenities, and the resort centre, with a wider choice of dining options, is just a little further along the beach or five minutes from the villa by car. Inside the villa, sunlight floods in through the abundance of wide patio doors and windows, and the lounge and all three bedrooms are strategically located at the front of the villa to make the most of the views. Outside, a fabulous covered terrace stretches along the length of the villa, perfect for a barbecue as the sun goes down. After we had visited this idyllic spot a couple of times, the draw of this thoroughly charming village worked its magic on us, and now when we think of Lefkas, we instantly think of Vasiliki. A more colourful and mesmerizing bay we have seldom stumbled across, especially when the wind surfers are proudly demonstrating their talents in the vast safe bay which Vasiliki has become justifiably renowned.
