Privacy & Cookies

What we collect

Contact data you send us (e.g. name, email) when you email contact@scrubnet.org.
Server logs (IP address, user agent, request metadata) for security and reliability.
Bot verification data for protected JSON endpoints (e.g. ASN, IP range match results).

Why we collect it (lawful basis)

Legitimate interests to operate a secure, reliable service; respond to enquiries; and prevent abuse.
Legal obligations where applicable (e.g. responding to lawful requests).

Retention

Contact emails: typically up to 24 months.
Server and bot-verification logs: typically up to 90 days, unless required for security investigations.

Sharing

We use standard infrastructure providers (e.g. hosting/CDN, email) who act as processors under our instructions. We do not sell personal data.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or objection to processing, and data portability where applicable. To exercise rights, email contact@scrubnet.org. You can also complain to the UK ICO.

International transfers

Where data is processed outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies

We do not set non-essential cookies or use third-party tracking. Essential cookies are not currently used. If we introduce analytics or third-party embeds that set cookies, we will update this page and seek consent before setting them.

Terms of Use

Scope

These Terms govern your use of scrubnet.org and any structured data feeds we publish (“Feeds”). By using the site or Feeds you agree to these Terms.

Acceptable use

Do not disrupt, overload, or attempt to bypass access controls.
Respect our robots.txt and any machine-readable allowlists we publish.
Do not use the site or Feeds for unlawful purposes or to infringe others’ rights.

Licensing of Feeds

Unless otherwise stated in a specific feed header or documentation, Feeds are provided “as is” for indexing, research, and interoperability. You are responsible for complying with third-party rights in any source data referenced by our Feeds. We may rate-limit, modify, or withdraw Feeds at any time.

Definitions (plans & URLs)

“URL” means a unique HTTP(S) address we attempt to fetch as part of your in-scope sitemaps during a billing period. Where pages redirect, we treat the final resolved page as in scope for counting. We may exclude obviously duplicate or error URLs at our discretion to keep feeds clean and efficient.

Subscriptions & Payments

We offer two standard subscription plans, billed monthly in GBP:
- Starter: £5/month, up to 1,000 URLs
- Growth: £15/month, up to 25,000 URLs
For larger needs, Enterprise is available on a custom basis — contact us to discuss scope and pricing.
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a rolling monthly basis via our payment processor (e.g. Stripe). We do not store card details.
Plan limits & fair use: URL limits refer to the number of unique pages we attempt to fetch from your declared sitemaps and in-scope URLs within a billing period. If you consistently exceed your plan limit, we may notify you to upgrade; otherwise we may throttle or exclude excess URLs until you move to an appropriate plan.
Upgrades & downgrades: upgrades take effect immediately and we may re-crawl additional URLs; downgrades apply from the next billing period.
Cancellations: you can cancel anytime; service continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are not typically offered for partially used months, except where required by law.
Currency & taxes: charges are in GBP. If and when VAT is applicable, invoices will clearly show VAT details; until then, no VAT is charged.
Price changes: we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice for future plan price changes (does not apply to one-off promotional/introductory pricing).

Scrubnet does not guarantee visibility, ranking, or business impact in any LLM or search product. Features and limits may change as the service evolves.

Disclaimers

The site and Feeds are provided without warranties. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or accuracy and disclaim liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss. Any direct liability is capped at the total fees paid to Scrubnet Ltd in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

If you believe you’ve found a security issue, please email contact@scrubnet.org with details and a way to reproduce. We aim to acknowledge within 5 working days.

Technical measures

HSTS, modern TLS, and standard security headers (CSP, Referrer-Policy, Permissions-Policy, X-Content-Type-Options, X-Frame-Options).
Bot verification on protected endpoints using official crawler IP ranges.
Minimal data collection and time-boxed log retention.
